Article 1
Congress has the power to collect taxes from you to pay for the Common Defense and other debts. Taxes on the manufacture of goods stays the same, however.
Article 2
-The power of the Executive Branch is given to The President of the United States. Four years will he hold his office along with the Vice president that is chosen to serve with the president.
Article 3
Establishes the Judicial Branch of The United States in which includes the Supreme Court and other lower courts created by Congress. Judges must have good behavior and their salary will never go down.
Article 4
Outlines the obligations the federal government and the states have to one another. It lists the requirements for the admission of new states and the changing of state boundaries.
Article 5
When it is deemed necessary with 2/3 of both of the Houses vote, a convention shall be called for proposed amendments. It states that alteration of the Constitution requires the proposing of an amendments and ratification being which ratification means "to approve of".
Article 6
Establishes the Constitution of The United States as accordance with the supreme law of the land. Religious tests are not necessary for working in the government and The United States are responsible for paying any debts under the the Articles of Confederation.
Article 7
Tells you how many ratifications are needed from the states for the Constitution to be put into effect. It also tells you the process of how a state can ratify it.
